Phish at Bonnaroo

It was announced late last week that Phish will play two shows at Bonnaroo. These sets will comprise of 2 full set performances as well as a late evening set. The Bonnaroo Festival is in its eighth annual year. This camping and music festival extravaganza is set to be held from June 11 to 14 in Manchester, Tennessee. Manchester is about 60 miles south of Nashville.

The Bonnaroo Festival will bring in a total of over 120 bands along with 20 comedians performing on 13 stages over a four day time period. Sponsors will also be giving away freebies and have fun games and activities for all.

Some other key performers at Bonnaroo will be Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Nine Inch Nails, TV on the Radio,The Beastie Boys, Al Green, David Byrne, Snoop Dogg, Merle Haggard, Animal Collective, The Del McCoury Band, Lucinda Williams, Wilco, Femi Kuti, Mars Volta, Coheed and Cambria, Alejandro Escovedo and Rodrigo y Gabriel.

The name "Bonnaroo" means good in Cajun. This festival was voted as the "Best Festival of 2008" by Rolling Stone.
